Okay, Ike was so many times worse. I've been out of town this entire time. I come back, and my house is in pretty bad shape. Our roof's damaged, so we have to go through this FEMA thing, and it's a nightmare.
I'm just glad I have power. That's more than I can say for other people. Some aren't getting it back until November, I heard. CRAZY.
( A ton!!! )

I haven't done any of my homework this weekend...I should probably do that tomorrow. My math test is probably going to kick my ass.
Lord, I've gotten asked to homecoming already. It's in two months! I can't go though. I'm really excited. We're going to be performing that weekend. My beautiful teal dress will be ready soon, and I'll get to wear that. *flails* I hate when people like you...you don't like them back...and then it's all awkward.
Gustav's making landfall in a few hours. I'm not going to lie. I'm nervous. My friend Jade, who isn't here right now because her parents are having some kind of "social", actually came here from New Orleans. Her house was totaled, and the whole thing just sucks.

Well, I guess I should say hi now. I've been on this site for a few days, and my friends and I have had a lot of fun. I'm Eden (like the garden), and I was born in New York. It got kind of expensive, so we moved south to this warm and humid place. I miss New York, though. I miss the snow. And they don't move as fast here.
I have found a group of friends--there's five of us, and we really don't do stuff without each other. I know...we're a bunch of insecure teenage girls. But it isn't really anything like that. We just kind of get each other. And we spend a lot of time together
Anyway, we go to this school that gives us about...three hours of homework a night. Add studying to that, and it's more like five or six hours...plus extracurriculars. This is kind of our outlet. We tend to get carried away, but we really are good people.
Anyway, I've got three quizzes tomorrow. It's back to group studying!
